Porcelain Veneers

Try You Have Crooked, Chipped, Or Stained Teeth

Porcelain veneers are one of most impressive procedures in cosmetic dentistry. Porcelain veneers, unlike full coverage porcelain crowns, can be paper-thin and will bond onto the front of your tooth improving the shading and shape of your teeth for an aesthetic smile you’ve always wanted.

Porcelain veneers are thin restorations that are added to the front of your teeth to enhance your smile. They help to cover up flaws and minor imperfections that might have you feeling badly about your appearance. Veneers are made specifically for each patient, so they feel and look completely natural. The hand layered porcelain has a dynamic quality that catches and reflects light, just like the enamel of your natural teeth. Veneers require minimal preparation, in some instances no preparation, and can correct a number of cosmetic issues.

What Can Porcelain Veneers Do?

Porcelain veneers are made from a thin layer of dental porcelain, a strong and durable material that closely resembles the look and feel of natural teeth. Porcelain veneers are custom-made for each patient and are designed to match the color and shape of their natural teeth. Porcelain veneers are known for their durability and longevity, and they can last for many years with proper care.

What Do Veneers Look Like?

Why Would Porcelain Veneers Be Needed?

The reason you might want or need veneers is because the front of your smile is flawed. Your teeth might be cracked, stained, discolored, unevenly spaced or unsightly. Rather than undergo extensive procedures to fix these issues, veneers will cover them up and provide you with the full and healthy smile you’ve always wanted. Veneers are best for adults wanting a complete cosmetic change to their appearance.

Are Porcelain Veneers Right For Me?

Porcelain veneers are a great solution to achieving the aesthetic smile you have always dreamed of, but there are limitations and they may not be the best solution for everyone. Every tooth and person is different and it is very important to have a full consult and treatment plan with Dr. Fiorentini to understand all of your options to know what is the best solution for the results you desire.

Individuals who have structurally weak teeth or who are prone to severe bruxism may be better suited for treatment with a full coverage porcelain crown.

The Veneers Process

The veneer process begins with a comprehensive consultation where Dr. Fiorentini will discuss which aspects of your smile you most want to enhance. Veneers can alter the size, shape, and shade of your teeth. Once we have an idea of the smile you are looking for, we will create a model of the proposed design so that we can show you what your requested treatment will look like.

The placement of veneers is generally a two-visit process that requires Dr. Fiorentini to prepare the teeth and take a final impression. During your second visit, the veneer will be placed by bonding it to the existing the teeth to give you a beautiful, aesthetic smile.
